"When I was in high school, way back in 1980, I was in a garage band in Lenoir City called Internal Herd. The first time I met Terry was at a show we playing in knoxville opening up for Todd Steed's band at the time, the Real Hostages. Years and years and years later, it made my day when Terry called me up and asked if I would mind if he used that name (Internal Herd) for his new band. He told me it was always one of his favorite band names. Ha. I came up with it simply by dropping my finger twice into a dictionary and putting together the words that I landed on." -Jimmy Scarbrough
